Castello di Cortevecchio

From the ruins of "Castrum Nognae", ancient medieval castle, rises the Castello di Cortevecchio, once defence stronghold inhabited for centuries by important big families and noble leaders. It is composed by different parts: The Castle, intended mainly for the common areas and in part for some rooms, and the nineteenth century outbuildings made of stone, at few meters from the castle, where the other rooms are. Embedded in a secular plants park at 590mt of height, the castle represents an ideal place where to live unforgettable moments surrounded by art, history and nature.

 

Rooms

11 rooms all located in the Castle, all equipped with kitchenette, 10 Standard rooms for 2/3 persons and 4 Junior Suites, all double with little living room, located in the outbuildings. 4 Superior rooms, for 2 persons, some with air conditioning (with supplement), located in the "Turbesi" House at ca. 250mt from the main building. All the rooms have TV,  telephone and private services.

Restaurant

Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with service at the table and typical dishes of the Italian cooking tradition, selected by a refined cooking staff.

Activities and Services

Wide park with sports equipment, pool, wide equipped solarium, game park for children.

With extra charge

Tennis field, five a side football, bowls game, Table Tennis, mountain bike renting, excursions on horseback.

How to arrive: from the NorthE45 in direction of. Exit Gubbio (4 Km after Umbertide) SS.219 in direction of Gubbio, after 12 Km take at left the county road 204 in direction Nogna, 3,5 Km uphill.

From South highway A1 direction Firenze, exit Orte. Take the beltway for Terni and then enter the E45 direction Cesena-Perugia. Always follow the directions for Cesena and exit at Umbertide-Gubbio (the exit is immediately after Pierantonio) take the right and drive through the SS.219 direction Gubbio for ca. 12 Km. Take then the deviation on the left in direction Pietralunga for ca. 3 Km.
